Work accident in the construction industry is a problem that continues to exist in Indonesia. Even
the estimated construction accident cases 31.9% of total accidents in all sectors of the industry. The
direct cause of the accident was unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. We established relationship
between personality and job site condition that affect building construction workers unsafe action
using structural equation modeling (SEM). The study was observational research with cross
sectional design. A questionnaire was administered to building construction worker, and the
following results were obtained. First, personality affected unsafe action not only directly but also
indirectly with worker constraint as a mediating variable. Second, personality did not directly
affected job site condition and job site condition did not directly affected unsafe action. Third, job
site condition indirectly affected unsafe action with worker constraint as a mediating variable.
These findings can be used as preliminary data to develop safety programs specifically for safety
communication between contractor, subcontractor, and workers.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast is a rare neoplasm, accounting for only 0,1%of all
malignant breast tumors. The prognostic is better compared to other breast cancers. We report a
case of an adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast, diagnosed in a 64 year old women who consulted
for a nodule of the upper outer quadrant of the right breast associated with mastodynia. The tumor
was classified CT2N0M0. An excisional biopsy and extemporaneous histological study were
performed. The treatment was completed by a mastectomy with ipsilateral axillary lymph node
dissection. The histopathological and immunohistochemical study confirmed the diagnostic of
adenoid cystic carcinoma. An adjuvant external beam radiotherapy was delivered to the chest wall
at the dose of 50 gy. The patient is disease free after a follow up of 10 months.Breast adenoid cystic
carcinoma has a good prognosis. Because the rarity of this tumor, its treatment is not codified. The
aim of our study is to describe the epidemiological, clinicopathological characteristics, the
treatment and the prognostic of this rare type of breast tumor.

CMV infection is endemic in most countries of the world. It is likely to take severe forms in
immunocompromised individuals such as allograft recipients of marrow or organ, patients with
acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and hemodialysis patients, given that the
seroprevalence is high among the general population. Our study is a prospective description of the
seroprevalence of cytomegalovirus among chronic hemodialysis patients in Marrakech through a
serie of 500 patients treated in the hemodialysis centers of Marrakech, whose their serum is
analyzed in Virology department of the Military Hospital Avicenne , Marrakech teaching hospital,
over a period of 6 months, from September 2015 to March 2016. We collected demographycal,
clinical and biological data from the patients records and anamnesis. Serological test for the
presence of IgG and IgM anti CMV, was performed by immunoassay technique chemiluminescent
microparticle (CMIA), by ARCHITECT(ABBOTT DIAGNOSTIC). The prevalence of IgG and IgM
anti-CMV was 98% and 0.4% respectively. The mean age of patients with CMV IgG positive was
55.95 14.21 years, which 50.2% are from low economic level . The mean hemodialysis duration
was 5.9 5.1years among seropositive for CMV IgG, 63.2% of them are undergoing hemodialysis
three times a week. 298 (60.3%) patients with IgG anti CMV + were transfused at least once, all by
standard blood against 196 (39.7%) patients who have never been transfused. The mean recurrence
of blood transfusion is averaging 2.1transfusion.Among anti CMV IgG positive patients, 60.3% had
a surgical history against a single patient who has a history of transplantation. Clinically, one
patient is symptomatic. 11.9% and 1.4% of CMV seropositive patients have respectively a positive
HCV and HVB serology. Anemia was present in 387 (78.3%) of CMV + subjects , while the liver
function was normal in most patients. We recommend blood transfusion leukodepleted in the
hemodialysis population to reduce the risk of transfusion transmission CMV

Bacteriological analysis of 120 soil samples from dumpsites in Ojo, Lagos, with standard
microbiological techniques revealed the total viable aerobic bacterial count as 2.19 x107 cfu/mg
soil on eosin methylene blue ( EMB) agar and 5.12 x 108 cfu/mg soil on MacConkey (MCC ) agar,
indicating that the bacterial count is higher on MCC than on EMB. The bacterial isolates and their
frequency of isolation from dumpsites were Escherichia coli (33.3%), Klebsiella spp. (16.7%)
,Pseudomonas spp. (13.3%), Proteus spp.(10%), Streptococcus spp. (8.3%), Salmonella spp.
(6.7%), Staphylococcus aureus (6.7%) and Enterobacter spp. (5.0%). The high presence of
pathogenic bacteria from dumpsites is of serious public health concern and highly significant.
Antibiotic susceptibility testing using the disc diffusion technique showed that most of the bacterial
species isolated were susceptible to ciproval, traflox and norfloxacin, but were highly resistant to
	cephalaxin and chloramphenicol.

Health services for infants became a serious problem in South Central Timor Regency, because of
its low utilization despite high infant morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to create a realized
access model based on infants and family factors in South Central Timor Regency. This study
applied a cross-sectional study design, with a sample of 280 respondents. Data were collected
through interviews with questionnaire as guidance. Data were analyzed with SmartPLS Version
3.2.6. The results showed that family factors (income, health insurance ownership, mothers
knowledge of infant health care services, health workers as a source of information) and infant
factors (place of birth, birthweight, and age at birth) improved realized access of infants. Therefore
increasing family income through the empowerment of women is needed, in addition of
strengthening multisectoral cooperation in providing information and motivation to utilize health
facilities for childbirth and infant care.

of kusambi (Scheichera oleaca), sei has been known in the city of Kupang as one of the meat food
products. The processing of sei meat require nitrite as a preservative to obtain good color and
prevent the growth of microbes. According to the regulations of Food and Drug Supervisory Agency
of the Republic of Indonesia number 36 of 2013, Nitrite use is permitted with a maximum limit of
use of 30 mg/kg, but in reality in everyday life obtained the use of nitrites usage exceeds the
threshold that has been set. This study aims to know the difference nitrite content in meat meat
processing company sei between modern and traditional in the city of Kupang. Method: The study
was descriptive research laboratory tests. The Subjects in this study were sei meat (smoked meat
typical Timor) and the object of study is two meat processing company sei (smoked meat typical
Timor) traditional and cottage industry in the city of Kupang. Data analysis result of research done
descriptively and are presented in table and narrative. Result: sei derived from traditional
industries and domestic industries have different nitrite content. The highest nitrite levels found in
sei meat derived from domestic industry in the amount of 110.19 mg/kg and the lowest levels found
in sei meat derived from domestic industry that is equal to 22.28 mg/kg. Conclusion: All samples
sei meat derived from traditional industries and home industries containing nitrite in meat
processing sei as a whole is the same. for traditional industry better prepared than the domestic

Introduction - Zygomycosis are invasive infections due to the proliferation of cosmopolitan
mushroom in tissues. Their evolution is rapid and fatal in immunocompromised patients. The
authors are reporting a recent case of rhinocerebral zygomycosis in a diabetic patient.Observation
	- A 49 years old patient with type 2 diabetes evolving for 10 years in a state of ketoacidosis was
hospitalized in the ENT department of the University Hospital Mohammed VI for a foreign body to
the left ear. The patient had cellulitis of the entire parotid region, posterior parotid and left jugularcarotid
region; refractory to antibiotic treatment. A biopsy was sent to the Parasitology and
Mycology laboratory of Avicenna Military Hospital witch the mycological study showed wide
siphoned hyphae of zygomycosis. Culture has isolated a strain of Rhizopus oryzae confirming the
diagnosis suspected. Pathological exam showed necrotic tissue with inflammatory elements and
pathogens type filament, not septated, invading vessels and nerves. Despite treatment with
amphotericin B and surgical excision, the lesions spread to the orbital region and then to the brain,
leading eventually to death.Conclusion- Rhinocerebral mucormycosis is an aggressive fungal
infection particularly affecting unbalanced diabetic patients. Mycological diagnosis allows an early
	treatment.

The plant Acacia catechu, commonly known as the cutch tree is a tropically abundant plant which is
widely used in Indian subcontinent with some presence in Central Asia and in China. The species
has lent its name to important catechins, catechols. The most used part of this plant is stem or
heartwood as water extract. Some pharmacological demonstrations have also been done with ethyl
acetate extract. Leaves of the plant found some primary applications in biological actions. Presence
of several polyphenolic compounds like tannins, flavonoids are responsible for many biological
activities. The ethno pharmacological values of the plant make it a potent therapeutic and cosmetic
agent. In the present review, comprehensive information on pharmacognostic evaluation, botanical
aspects, therapeutic values, modern pharmacological activities and chemical constituents along
with their 1H NMR data are provided to explore the potential and to advance research.

Tuberculosis is a public health problem in Morocco, the prevalence of which is increasing in recent
years, despite diagnostic and therapeutic advances. Peritoneal tuberculosis is the most frequent
form of digestive tuberculosis, and its diagnosis of certainty is either microbiological or
histological, but there are some recent methods that are particularly important, such as the
measurement of adenosine deaminase (ADA) The activity has a very good diagnostic value with
high specificity and sensitivity according to the studies at a threshold value of 30 IU / l.
In order to determine the practical value of the ADA assay in the ascites fluid in the diagnosis of
peritoneal tuberculosis, a retrospective study was carried out within our department over a period
	of 8 years.

Transmission of HIV from pregnant women to their children can be prevented by early examination
to VCT clinics. Cadres as the spearhead of community health play an essential role in encouraging
pregnant women to do test in VCT clinics. Commitment and motivation of the cadres are two
determining factors of the success in encouraging pregnant women to consult to VCT clinics. The
objective of this research is to investigate the effect of training about HIV which employs SALT
method on commitment and motivation to give pregnant women referral to VCT (voluntary
counseling and testing) clinic for HIV test. This research is a quasi experimental research involving
50 intervention groups and 50 control groups as the samples. The experiment groups were given
training by using SALT method while the control groups were given only the HIV modul. The data
were analyzed by using Wilcoxon Sign Rangk Test dan Mann Whitney U Test. The research findings
shows that difference test on the control groups indicates no difference between pre-test and posttest
with p-value of commitment is 0.494 and p-value of motivation is 0.141, which are bigger than
(0.05). On the other hand, the result of different test on treatment group by using Mann-Whitney U
test shows that p-value of commitment is 0.020 and p-value of motivation is 0.015, which are both
less than (0.05). The result indicates that there is a significant difference between control group
and treatment group. Therefore, it can be concluded that training using SALT method can increase
motivation and commitment of cadres so that they are able to give pregnant women referral to VCT
	clinic.

Introduction: Stomach cancer, is a cancer that develop from stomach tissues and seems possibly
due to the multiplication and installation in the stomach of a bacterium (Helicobacter Pylori) which
produces an oncogenic protein ( Cag or CagA) and promoted by diets rich in salt. Stomach
cancer is the second leading cause of death due to cancer in the world. Even though the annual
incidence of stomach cancer has been decreasing steadily this last twenty years there remains a real
public health problem. The vast majority of malignant tumors of the stomach (95%) are
adenocarcinomas. Materials and methods: Retrospective descriptive study over 4 years (February
2011 - December 2015), including all cases of gastric cancers admitted in the departments of
Gastroenterology, Radiotherapy and Oncology, excluding cardiac tumors; studied and analyzed the
epidemiological, diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics of our series. Results:
145 confirmed cases of malignant gastric tumors of which 56 cases were already hospitalized at
the service dring the study period, that is 38.7%, 100 cases of adenocarcinoma, 36 cases of
lymphoma, 7 cases of stromal tumor and 2 cases of neuroendocrine tumor. The average age was 55,
6 years with the extremes from 20 to 87 years one third were under 50 years of age. A slight male
predominance was noted. Risk factors were mainly alcohol-tobacco use and Helicobacter pylori
infection in 38.5% and 28% of cases respectively. The main revealing clinical signs
were epigastralgia and weight loss found in 86% of patients. The location was often Antro-pyloric
and the tumor was often ulcer-budding. Undifferentiated adenocarcinoma is the predominant
histological type, the diagnosis was was often established at a late stage of the tumeur, which are
normally locally advance or metastatic. Surgical treatment was performed only in 15% of patients
Conclusion: The peculiarities of our series of study are the young age of our patients, the diagnosis
at a late stage. These two conditions are real challenge for the clinician who remains the desire to
be curative and the limits of therapeutic means.

Introduction: The diagnosis of celiacdisease is based on the positivity of
Serological markers, histological criteria as well as the response to the gluten-free diet.
The aim of our work is to study the correlation between endoscopic, histological and serological
appearances. Patients and method: This is a retrospective descriptive studycarried out within 5-
year period from October 2010 to October 2016. The 25 patients in our Collected series in the
department of hepatogastroenterology of CHU Mohammed VI have benefited from an assessment
Serology, an endoscopy of the upper digestive track with biopsies and anatomopathological study of
the biopsies. Results: The meanage of our patients was 33 years [16-50],we noted a clear female
predominance. Chronicdiarrhea was the main indicator Foundin 70%. upper digestive
track endoscopy was normal in 40% of cases, showing duo denal fold serasedin 36% of cases, and
an aspect of duodenitisin 24% of cases. The anatomo-pathological study of the biopsies carried out
during the digestive endoscopy noted a total villous atrophyin 60% of cases, in 40% of cases it was
an atrophy. Subtotal of the villus. Serologically anti-transglutam in aseanti bodies were positive in
90% of cases, where as anti-endomysium antibodies were present in 65% of cases. The study of
correlation between the different erological, endoscopic and Histological aspect is not significant
in our series. Conclusion: In our series, thereis no significant correlation between the endoscopic
appearance, serological profile and degree of villousatrophy; This can be explained by the small
number of people for the study, hence the interest of other prospective studies with a large work
	force.

Introduction: Urinary tract infection is one of the most frequent infections in hospital practice. It covers a
range of clinical situations, symptomatology and gravity ranging from simple asymptomatic bacteriuria to
complicated acute pyelonephritis. In urology, it is a constant concern because of their frequency, their
morbidity, the lengthening of their stay and the resistance of the germs to antibiotics. OBJECTIVE: To
assess the incidence of urinary tract infection in hospitalized patients in urology, to determine the
bacteriological characteristics and risk factors of urinary tract infection in urology. MATERIAL AND
METHODS: Prospective study carried out over a period of 6 months (July 2016 - December 2016) at the
microbiology laboratory of the CHU Mohammed VI in Marrakech, including all urinary infections
documented by a positive ECBU from the urology department of CHU Med VI. Identification and
antibiogram were performed using the Phoenix 100 (Becton Dickinson) and by manual methods.
Interpretation of antibiotic sensitivity was made according to the recommendations of the CA-SFM. The age
and clinical and bacteriological data of the patients included were recorded on a farm record. RESULTS:
During the study period, 121 records meeting the urinary tract infection criteria were selected. The
prevalence of urinary tract infection in urology was 25.6%. The average age of patients was 52.2 years with
a sex ratio of 0.9. 17% of patients were smoking and 8% were diabetic. The most common reason for
hospitalization was bladder tumors (43%) followed by stenosis of the urethra (14%). Urinary signs were
dominated by voiding burns (78.5%), followed by pollakiuria (61%). 51% of patients received endoscopic
surgery and 19% were surgical. 60% of the patients were surveyed. 50% of patients received probabilistic
antibiotic therapy covering the invasive procedure. 62% of urinary infections were nosocomial. The
appearance of urine was cloudy in 58.6% of cases, with significant leukocyturia in 90% of cases, and
significant hematuria in 92%. 90% of the strains isolated were Gram-negative bacilli with a predominance
of Escherichia coli (41%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae (30%). In enterobacteriaceae, the resistance to
	amoxicillin-clavulanic acid was 73%, and that to C3G was 43.75%. For non-fermentative Gram-negative
bacilli, the resistance to Ceftazidime was 43%, and to the Imipenem of 36%. Fluoroquinolone resistance in
uropathogenic isolates was 58.8%. CONCLUSION: The results of this study highlight the problem of
urinary infections in hospitals, particularly in the urology department, where the use of invasive urological
maneuvers is frequent. Timely microbiological surveillance and assessment of antibiotic resistance is a
defense against the emergence of new bacterial strains increasingly resistant to broad-spectrum
antimicrobials, making therapeutic options increasingly limited.

Introduction: Multiple myeloma (MM) is a clonal proliferation of plasma cells invading the bone
marrow and secreting a monoclonal immunoglobulin. MM is the second most common haemopathy
after non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Objective: The aim of this study is to study the epidemiological,
clinical and biological features of multiple myeloma in the population of Marrakech and regions.
METHODS: Through a retrospective descriptive study spread over 3 years, concerning 92 cases of
patients followed for MM. Included in the study are any patient with radiological, biological,
cytological or histological criteria for MM. RESULTS: The mean age of the patients was 59.5
years and the sex ratio (m / f) was 1.3. Growers account for 13%, 10 patients are tobacco, and 2
are alcoholics. 12 patients have diabetes, 8 are hypertensive, 2 are treated with TB. Clinically,
85.9% of bone manifestations, 42.4% of anemic syndromes, 46.8% of altered general status and
35% of neurological symptoms were noted. Biological examinations showed anemia with
hemoglobin of less than 10 g / dl in 64% of cases, accelerated SV in 70.6%, an increase in serum
creatinine in 34.7%, and hypercalcemia In 22.8%. A monoclonal peak in serum protein
electrophoresis was noted in 88% of which Ig G (64%), IgA (25%), light chains (8.3%),
hypogammaglobulinemia in 5.4%. Cytologically, the myelogram revealed a medullary
plasmocytosis greater than 10% in 91.3% cases with dystrophic aspects. According to the
classification of Salmon and Durie, 65% of patients were stage III, 22% stage II, and 13% stage I.
CONCLUSION: MM is a hemopathy that remains incurable and often fatal, however diagnosis
and management Remain due to the ignorance of this disease and the remoteness of the sick.

Background: Cigarette smoke that was accumulated on blood vessel membrane would constrict
smokers blood vessels. Free radicals which were from cigarette smoke would cause lipid
peroxidation of cell membranes, then, it would damage cell membrane organization. If free radicals
in the body increased continuously,it was needed enzymes in greater numbers to neutralize
superoxide dismutase (SOD). Antioxidants were substances that gave their electrons to free radical
molecules and could break the chain reaction of free radicals. Psidiumguaya L extract was a source
of anti-oxidants because they contained phenolic and ascorbic acid. Aim: To analyse the effect of
giving extracts of Psidiumguajava l as an antioxidant for the protection of cell membrane damage
due to cigarette smoke exposure. Method: This research was experimental laboratory by using
healthy male mice which aged 3-4 weeks, had weightin 25-40gr, were adapted for a week and then,
they were divided into 4 groups treated by cigarette smoke exposure and guava extract
(PsidiumGuajava L.). Afterwards, it was checked SOD activity levels of mice blood. Results: The
givingextract of Psidiumguajava L as an antioxidant was proven to give real effect to cell
membrane damage due to cigarette smoke exposure that was the increase of the content of
Superokside Dismustase (SOD)activity in mice. Conclusions: Psidiumguaya L extract possesses
antioxidative properties against cigarette smoke via augmentation of SOD activity

Introduction:The extra-digestive manifestations of chronicinflammatory bowel disease(IBD) are
frequent, theyprecede, accompany or are independent of this Gastrointestinal tract disease. Their
management is multidisciplinary, thus involving a Multidisciplinary approach of IBD with extradigestive
manifestations, but also informing Patients in order to draw their attention to anyunusual
clinical signs of this Digestive impairment, but also to ensure the proper compliance
treatments Proposed to treat these extra digestive manifestations. Patients and methods:This is a
prospective study of 20 cases of IBD with dermatological manifestations assembled within the
Gastroenterology and Dermatology Services of CHU Mohamed VI Over a period of 6 months (from
August 2014 to January 2015).Results:20 patients with dermatological manifestations coming
within the scope of study into the IBD, this includes 15 patients suffering from Crohns disease (CD)
and 5 cases of Hemorrhagic Rectocolitis (HRC), meanage was 26 years with a sex ratio M/W of O,
	66. We found 10 cases of Pyoderma Gangrenosum, 3 cases of erythemanodosum, 4 cases of sweet
syndrome, 2 cases of dermatitis Herpetiform, and only one patient had psoriasis. These
manifestations were observed with regards IBD out breakin 15 patients, they were accompanied
by IBD in Remission in 4 cases and were observed in a latent IBD case leading to its Diagnosis in
this case alone. All were treated with combination therapy for IBD and Specific dermatological
treatment. Evolution was good in all cases. Conclusion: In General, the occurrence of invalidating
dermatoses does not change the prognosis Of gastrointestinal track impairement of IBD. The role of
the dermatologist in directing patients towards gastroenterology during consultation when the
diseases first manifestation is on the skin is important.

Since 1991, laparoscopic cholecystectomy has become the gold standard for the treatment of
symptomatic biliary lithiasis. Nevertheless, a number of procedures are very difficult to perform in
laparoscopy. It is for this reason that systems have been developed which facilitate gesture and
make laparoscopic gestures easier to perform. It is a retrospective study of 1200 cases of
cholecystectomies collected at the department of visceral surgery III of the CHU of Casablanca
over a period of 06 years (2010-2015). The aim of this work is to evaluate the experience of the

The ganglioneurom is a rare benign tumor of the adult and the adrenal localization is only 20% of
all the localizations. We report the case of an adrenal ganglioneurosis in a 51-year-old patient. She
had moderate pain in her right flank. Clinical examination was normal. Ultrasound showed a
rounded hypoechoic formation between the upper pole of the right kidney and the liver of 37mm
diameter evoking a right adrenal process. Computed tomography (CT) showed the presence of a
well-defined 50/30 mm oval-shaped adrenal mass with a few thin endolesional calcifications. The
biological balance of which a hormonal evaluation was normal. The patient had undergone a
complete resection of the sural tumor. On histological examination, the diagnosis is that of a
ganlioneurome. The surgery was simple. The diagnosis of ganlioneurome is difficult and is definitely
retained only after the immunohistochemical study of the surgical specimen. Complete monobloc
	resection is the only treatment.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation of factors affecting the nutritional status of
under-five children in Indonesia in 2015. This study employed a canonical correlation method
which aimed to determine the relationship between two variables and identify the dimensions
between two groups of variables. The resultsshowed that variables of complete basic immunization,
complete neonatal visits, vitamin A, birth weight, and birth height were strongly correlated with
malnutrition status and poor nutritional status, but indicated a negative correlation with good
nutritional andovernutrition status. The independent variables which gave the highest effects on the
decrease of malnutrition and poor nutritional status were complete basic immunization, complete
neonatal visits, vitamin A, and birth weight, as they indicated a strong negative and an
	inversedcorrelation between the two variables.
